Scheduling and Information

Tamar Laderman, is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She provides primary & specialty integrative healthcare in a multi-session format.

Because she treats all aspects of your life, your care will depend on your dedicated effort and may require more frequent appointments than a typical medical office.

Currently Tamar Cares is a self-pay clinic. Payment is due at time of service.

Some insurances will reimburse you for our care and we are happy to provide you with a medical invoice that you can submit directly to them for possible reimbursement. Please verify with your insurance to ensure that it will cover out of network providers.

We are working on becoming in-network with some insurance companies but this is not available at this time.

For Massachusetts residents we accept MassHealth as a non billing provider

(We can happily provided medical invoice for you to submit for possible reimbursement).

Once you’ve scheduled your visit, please see your confirmation email for information.

Within 48 business hours, we will add you to our electronic medical record system where you will sign-up and complete your intake paperwork before your first appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What about labs and testing, are those covered by my insurance?

Tamar can order labs and imaging and ensures that you can get all the testing and referrals you might require. Your labs, imaging and prescriptions are likely covered by your insurance, please verify with your insurance prior to testing.

2. What states is Tamar able to take patients in?

Tamar is licensed to see patients in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.

3. Where do we go to see Tamar?

We are a telehealth clinic, meaning we see all our clients virtually. We are well practiced in Telehealth care.

There are clear advantages to a telehealth clinic. You can be seen in the comfort of your own home. You do not need to take time off work to travel to an appointment. You don't need to travel while you are sick or be exposed to sick people in a waiting room.

Telehealth is an ideal media for practitioners using a holistic approach. An online clinic allows a practitioner to schedule more time with patients. A longer visit results in no wait time to see your provider, and ample time to discuss all your health issues. Time with patients makes a big difference in care, and results in better health outcomes.

4. How much does an appointment cost?

 Cash Pay Prices:

     New Patient Consultation: $297
     Follow-up: $147

5. Do I need to have my previous medical records sent to you?

If you would like me to review previous records, please only ask for the last 2 years of progress notes, lab test results, and other testing to be sent and not your entire medical record. Please write to your previous doctor requesting that a copy of your medical records be sent directly to you. When you receive your records, you can provide a copy of those records to us.
